ENTERPHONE & INTERCOM INTEGRATION

Visitor management, security control, and suite communications. All within Fortek Unify.

The front entrance is where every visitor interaction begins, and where first impressions of your building’s security are formed. A modern enterphone system does far more than let residents buzz people in. It manages visitor identity, enables two-way audio and video communication, logs every entry event in detail, and connects with access control, elevators, and suite alarms to give your concierge team complete situational awareness from a single screen and your users a smooth, seamless experience.

Experience greater ease, efficiency, and professionalism as your directories automatically update across every door, screen, and intercom in the building seamlessly – enrollment changes in Fortek Unify automatically propagate everywhere so that your user experience is consistent and always up to date.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CONDOPLEX

Fortek integrates with Condoplex’s Property Connect Plus platform to bring enterphone and intercom functionality directly into the Fortek ecosystem so that your team handles visitor calls, door releases, elevator dispatch, and alarm events without switching between systems.

Condoplex is a Toronto-based building technology company specializing in integrated intercom, enterphone, access control, and suite security systems for multi-unit residential buildings across Canada. Their Property Connect Plus platform manages intercoms, panic stations, suite alarms, access control, elevator cabs, parking gates, and visitor entry systems from a single server and database, which is a natural complement to Fortek Unify.

Both companies share the same philosophy: one system, one database, one screen for your team to navigate.

VISITOR MANAGEMENT BEYOND THE BUZZER

📞 Two-way video entry
When a visitor arrives, they connect directly with the resident via live video call through the touchscreen, the resident’s mobile app, or their suite intercom station. Staff can monitor and manage all entry calls from one screen with full audio and video.   When access is granted, the system automatically calls an elevator and displays which cab to proceed to directly.

🚪 Answer call, open door, release elevator — one action
Fortek Unify and Condoplex work together so that answering a visitor call can simultaneously unlock the lobby door and dispatch the elevator to the visitor’s destination floor.

🔄 One enrollment. Every system updated.
When a new resident is added to Fortek Unify, the enterphone directory updates automatically. Your user list stays current across every door, screen, and intercom in the building.

📋 Single audit trail for everything
Every entry phone call, door release, elevator dispatch, and access event is logged in one unified audit trail, timestamped and searchable. A complete record of every visitor interaction, available instantly.

THE PEDESTAL ENTRY SYSTEM

The EP1040AP is Condoplex’s flagship pedestal visitor entry system — a showpiece for high-traffic building entrances. Built in all-stainless-steel vandal-proof housing, it combines a large gesture-controlled touchscreen with full two-way video calling, paperless visitor QR codes, and direct integration with Fortek Unify for automatic door release and elevator dispatch.

When a visitor is granted entry, the EP1040AP displays exactly which elevator cab has been assigned — so they proceed directly to the right car without any front desk guidance needed.

Key features:

  • 19″ 1000-nit touchscreen — readable in direct sunlight
  • Hands-free two-way audio and video calling to resident phones and guard screens
  • Time-encoded paperless visitor QR codes and PINs
  • Elevator dispatch with on-screen cab assignment displayed to visitor
  • SIP VoIP, mobile app support, multi-lingual, wheelchair accessible
  • Indoor and outdoor weatherproof housing
  • Wiegand output for Fortek access control integration

THE WALL-MOUNTED ENTRY PANEL

Where the EP1040AP commands a lobby, the ELP770VTS is designed for secondary entrances, side doors, parking access points, and any location where a full pedestal isn’t practical. A sleek 7″ portrait touchscreen in a compact surface or recessed wall-mount form factor — same Condoplex platform, smaller footprint.

Like the EP1040AP, the ELP770VTS connects directly with Fortek Unify. When access is granted, it triggers automatic door release and elevator dispatch, with the assigned cab displayed on screen so visitors know exactly where to go.

Key features:

  • 7″ gesture-controlled touchscreen with 2MP camera and LED
  • SIP VoIP communications with iOS and Android app support
  • Video capture for missed calls and interactive texting
  • Hot buttons for one-touch calling to concierge or guard
  • Surface or recessed wall mount — indoor and outdoor rated
  • PoE powered (RJ45) — single cable installation
  • Compact form factor: 230mm × 112mm × 40mm

Both entry systems (and more!) are fully supported within the Fortek/Condoplex integrated platform.  Your building can deploy the right hardware at every entrance while managing everything from a single Fortek Unify dashboard.
