In-suite Alarm System & Keypads

In today’s multi-residential condominium market, home owners place security among the top considerations for selecting a place to live.

Fortek provides an integrated in-suite alarm system specifically for the multi-residential housing market. Every suite alarm panel can monitor the front door, windows, and has a motion sensor. The keypads can be set up in a server/client configuration to allow remote arm/disarm stations. The system can also be used for emergency or medical situations. The suite alarm system is managed and monitored by the building’s on-site security guard, so the response for alarms is immediate. Residents can also have the guard arm and disarm their system – a great feature for those days when residents forget to arm their system. The system keeps an audit trail of all alarms and events. In addition, the current system also has the ability to be monitored by external central stations.

There are two types of suite alarm systems: basic alarm monitoring and the new voice alarm system which gives users the ability to speak to security and for security to announce to an intruder that security is on the way.
